Avison Young expands its urban team in Boston

Industry veteran Jay Driscoll joins as Principal, focusing on occupier services

Boston, MA – Tom Collins, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s New England Region, today announced that industry veteran Jay Driscoll has joined Avison Young as a Principal. Driscoll is part of the Boston office’s urban team and focuses on advising landlords and tenants on their commercial real estate strategies in the downtown Boston market.

With nearly four decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Driscoll brings a wide range of expertise to the organization. He has worked across sectors with companies like AVIVA Life, Beacon Capital, Bingham McCutchen, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Lincoln National Life, Thompson/Reuters and UBS.

Driscoll joins Avison Young from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as an Executive Director. He was a founding member of the firm’s National Tenant/Advisory Group and a member of its Broker Advisory Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Massachusetts.
